Disney Infinity 2.0 has a couple ways of keeping track of your Infinity collection. In the game menu there is a Disney Infinity Collection menu. Selecting this option will pull up a checklist of all the figures and power discs you have taken ownership of. This menu has been updated to include yet to be released characters and power discs. I discovered a couple power discs not listed on my other checklists. Marvel Team up: Captain Marvel and Ultimate Falcon Costume. Continue reading
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige had a super charged event at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, California to reveal the direction of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As fans gear up for Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man to finish off phase two, phase three promises to be epic. Confirming the additions of the Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Captain Marvel films shows Marvel’s commitment to their most passionate fans. Here are the proposed release dates for the Marvel Studios slate:
Set in the “Ultimate” Spiderverse, the Spider-Man play set is my favorite adventure yet. Swinging into action as Spider-Man has a timing, feel and control the true web-slinger would have in the real world. I feel awkward, like Peter Parker testing things out for the first time. I’ll get the swing of it eventually. Continue reading
The Guardians of the Galaxy join forces to protect Knowhere from a Kree invasion that may or may not be their fault. Am I the only one playing the soundtrack from the movie as I play? Continue reading
Don’t miss the pilot and first episodes of Star Wars Rebels on Disney XD or Disney Channel on Demand.
With a classic score, Rebels introduces a team of original characters sure to compliment the fan favorites of episodes 4-6 (no clones). Continue reading
After a huge pre-order fiasco I finally got my Disney Infinity 2.0 collectors edition with Frost Giant base. I am so excited. This is the first time I am starting with a full set of characters. I don’t know where to begin. Avengers Assemble!!! Continue reading
Based on a Marvel Comics team of superheroes, Big Hero 6 opens November 7 and comic book fans will not be disappointed. From the beginning of this project, Marvel told Disney to make this team their own and deviate from the original source material. The result? A tech savvy squad of youngsters righting the wrongs of San Fransokyo. I caught an early D23 screening of the 3D movie in Winter Park Florida. Here’s a spoonful. Continue reading
The Trail’s End restaurant at the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is one of the best deals on the Walt Disney World property for a non-character buffet breakfast. A casual mess hall with unbelievably tasty viddles. Continue reading
The creative team for Figment tied up loose ends with an inspiring final issue. By the end of this story, the audience is encouraged to explore, create and believe in their dreams. It saddens me that we have to say goodbye to these characters. How do you take a story of epic proportions and tell it in 5 issues? You leave a lot of the story untold. The Figment series gave us a small taste of the adventurous feast by staying true to its mission of revealing the origin of this special piece of Disney history. In five issues there was enough success, failure and redemption to make me want more. Continue reading
