As a fan of adventure and science fiction there is no better time to
be a Disney Guy than right now! I am extremely excited my childhood
favorites now live under one roof. The addition of Marvel and Lucas
Film ensure the franchises will continue to grow, develop and like a
well known theme park, never be completed…
The next few years promise many entertainment offerings worthy of the
hero’s journey. I am most excited about Guardians of the Galaxy, Big
Hero 6, Star Wars Rebels on Disney XD and the return of Agent’s of
Shield to ABC in the Fall. As I wait for Episode 7, I will complete my Hall of
Heroes with Avengers for Disney Infinity 2.0 and discuss past Disney
entertainment treasures here on A Spoonful of Disney. I may even hunt
for a little “back side of Disney” for those who enjoy the behind the
scenes magic.
Welcome aboard!

The family and I recently got back from a much needed, long weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort. I surprised my wife, for her birthday, with a reservation at a Disney resort hotel we had not stayed at before. The Pop Century Resort celebrates 20th century pop culture in America with larger than life tributes to popular toys, fashion, catch phrases and dances from the 1920s – 1990s. Continue reading

Time to rest up and prepare for the best 24 hours of your life! Last year, my husband and I did the 24-hour day at Disneyland. Let me tell you, this challenge is not for the weak. Hello everyone and welcome to A Spoonful of Disney! Where we will discuss, and review all aspects of The Walt Disney Company. Some of our favorite topics will include: Theme Parks, Disney’s culinary world, film and television (including Marvel and Lucas Films) and so much more!
My name is Beth, and I will be your host!
Growing up in Florida, trips to Disney World were an annual pilgrimage for my family. As I got older I noticed a lot of people “out growing” their enjoyment of the parks and seeing the movies. That was not the case for my brother and I. Our love and passion for Disney has only gotten stronger! Now my brother shares our Disney traditions with the next generation. Just the other day I was video chatting with my 3 year old niece. By video chatting, I mean, watching and listening to her sing the cutest, choreographed, “Let It Go,” from Frozen while dressed as Elsa!
Over six years ago, I moved to Los Angeles and fell in love with a fellow Disney dreamer, who I now call my husband! We go to Disneyland at least once a month, belong to D23 and attend special events. We enjoyed every D23 Expo, go to Walt Disney World every chance we get and prefer to surround ourselves with the complete Disney experience.
My brother, Brian will be our east coast correspondent discussing all things Walt Disney World and his great love of their food. My husband, Frank and I will cover and discuss west coast happenings in the world of entertainment, and much, much more!
Please feel free to make suggestions on things you, the reader, would like us to share. We hope you enjoy reading what we have to say!
And remember…
”There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day…”
