For the month of August, the Adventure Trading Company has set up camp at the Indiana Jones Outpost, to send YOU on a quest to obtain rare (limited edition) Juju’s hidden around Adventureland. What is a Juju you ask? It’s a traditional relic that represents a quest or special experience. There are nine collectable Juju’s. In addition to the Marvel booth and X Box Lounge, Disney Infinity set up shop across the tracks from the convention hall. Visitors were treated to giveaways, drinks and served hors d’oeuvres as they were introduced to the new world of Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes on compatible game consoles. New Characters, adventures and power disks were a reach away as gamers sampled the updated toy box and play sets in the Marvel Universe and placed advance orders for the new game system. With seventy-five visits to the Disneyland parks, I have never been to the Cove Bar at California Adventure. It’s a full service bar on the boardwalk, behind Ariel’s Grotto that overlooks Paradise Bay. It’s a cozy space, with a great view of the park and a nice place to sit back and unwind. Continue reading
